Concentrate on the muscles of your anus. Squeeze those muscles in gently as you would if you were attempting to hold in wind. Hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

Move your concentration to the muscles in your urethra and squeeze gently as you would if you were attempting to stop the flow of urine. Hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

Attempt to squeeze both of those muscles together and imagine yourself squeezing the muscles upwards into your tummy. Hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

While you practice those exercises, keep in mind your pelvis should not be moving, nor should your buttocks or inner thighs. All movements are done internally. No need to hold your breath or use any abdominal muscles to do the pelvic floor strengthening. Attempt to do the three exercise at the same time for best results.

Completing these exercises while walking daily have returned very good results.
